Bringing science and policy in tune and bridging the gap between the scientific community and society at large is very important for efficiency and effectiveness. The H2020 Initiative is committed to develop mechanisms to improve the science–policy/practice interface.
Therefore, based on an analysis made by the EU funded SWIM-H2020 Support Mechanism a set of recommendations have been developed for an enhanced interaction between the efforts for a cleaner Mediterranean and the important outcomes of relevant EU funded research projects.
